Job Summary

• Support engineering team for planning & procurement for Engineering spares – consumables, Capital & monitor inventory.
• Maintain up to date record of store items in word & outward. Must follow the FIFO process for the Engineering store materials.
• Maintain the inventory of Engineering store chemical, MSDS, consumables spare as per SABIC OMS guidelines.

How You Can Be the Impact

• Review all PM module work orders & maintain stock of engineering spares as per minimum & maximum defined level for preventive / breakdown & predictive maintenance.
• Closely work with maintenance team to monitor the engineering requirements on weekly basis & maintain the stock to avoid unplanned downtime.
• He/She should coordinate with the engineering team for engineering spares requirements & initiate purchase requisitions on time.
• Receipt & issues of Engineering material – plant consumables/capital items / engineering items & related documentation, MM & LE module. Must maintain records of all materials in excel sheets for receipt & issue.
• Review the inventory levels of the engineering & production materials in SAP system & maintain the stock level defined as per requirements.
• Coordinate with the engineering manager & project engineer for receipt, manage the CAPEX item purchase history, process for inspection of the materials & invoice processing as per the custom & local requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering supervisor to coordinate with OEM for repair / replace defective material with proper SOP.
• Maintain highest level of 5S & Housekeeping in stores area.
• Support the initiatives like Chemical Management, EHS audits, Support I-Procurement initiative.
• Manage documentation & Impletion of ISO: 9001, IATF:16949, EnMS:50001 documentation, SOP, inventory & support audits by certification agency.
• Coordinate with GPS team for follow ups on PR / PO release, timely receipt of material.
• Prepare Spares requirement as per shutdown & project planning.
• Led monthly physical verification of spares inventory & support annual asset verification.

What Matters to SABIC (Job Requirements)

• Diploma Mechanical or Electrical with minimum >8-10 years relevant experience in engineering store management.
• Computer literacy, Tally, SAP Store management module etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point.
• Good knowledge about compounding process and Engineering store function.
• Must have experience at record keeping & standards documentation process.
• Hands on experience SAP MM / LE /PM /IMPS module
