JOB PURPOSE
To ensure Manufacturing Operations with safe & defined quality parameters.
Job Area: Blender / Extruder / Packaging /QA/ Utility-Silo all area in Production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow site EHS norms / standard and demonstrate continual improvement initiatives at his work area.
- Maintain his area clean as per Lean 5S standard and sets example for others in keeping their area clean.
- Take initiative, self-directed and exhibit high motivational levels. To meet manufacturing metrics; assist as required on strategic projects / initiatives and drive kaizen implementation / process – quality improvement at work area. Take interest in solving problems.
- Willing to help others beyond his work area.
- Grasp fast and go into details of work initiated / assigned. Seek answers for unknown from colleagues.
- Discipline in behavior & responsibility to follow standard at work area assumes responsibility for own mistake and make corrections.
- See change as a tool for improvement. Demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation to meet functional requirements.
- Filling of logbooks and respective area documentation with detailed down time, corrective action, COT time, lot data sheet with accountability & effective communication to next shifts.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in plastics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 1 to 4 years’ experience or relevant industry experience
- Computer literacy
- Good knowledge of Mfg. Process & equipment
- Knowledge – Plastics compounding Manufacturing related Process & Procedure
- Skills – Safety orientation and appreciation of safety systems. Plan & implement activities relating to his area.
- Abilities – Understand, follow & implement SOPs and EHS norms. Take initiatives & sustain improvements
