EHSS & Q Manager
Job Summary
Petrochemical Pipeline Services (PPS) is service provider for approximately 1,000 km of petrochemical pipelines in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With safety and environment as our top priority in our daily work, we are now looking for an EHSS&Q Manager to reinforce our organization.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Ensure effective and efficient implementation of compliancy to overall company guidelines through a certified Management System as well as EHSS legislation in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Developing, implementing and optimizing Health and Safety-related programs, projects, processes, networks and training courses with the aim of improving EHSS&Q performance and contractor performance.
- Checking the company activities in the Netherlands and Belgium against the ARBO (working conditions) and environmental laws and legislation and extracting the obligations and requirements from these laws and legislation.
- Improve safety performance through safety inspections, field checks, risk assessments, project management of safety projects.
- Incident follow-up: provide substantive contribution to incident investigation as appropriate (including facilitation of the RCA/team investigations) and stimulate the organization to learn from the incidents.
What Matters to SABIC
- Minimum Bachelor and/or Master-degree in a relevant field (Chemistry/chemical Engineering or alike) and completed HVK and Industrial Hygiene study
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in EHSS&Q
- Solid working knowledge of risk assessments such as RCA, JSA, Human Factors
- Proven leadership and people management skills; ability to motivate, lead and develop a diverse workforce to achieve desired results
- Team player: collaborative, decisive and result oriented self-propelling and a strong drive to improvement.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and oral.
