JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a major role in organizing, planning, developing, coordinating and implementing sales and marketing strategies and activities (business plan / sales forecast) in defined region. Competent in managing global accounts of high complexity and diverse business environment (e.g. different currencies - RMB & USD accounts, cultural, tax & legal diversity, proficient with local tax & regulatory requirements and provide value creation to grow regional & Global accounts effectively).
  • Require in-depth knowledge and applications of all Chemicals products, to develop, retain and sustain good relationship with key strategic GAM customers through periodic contacts and meetings to exchange market information, explore specific needs and anticipate new opportunities, ensuring SABIC market share and profitability in the region is maintained and / or increase based on the business plan.
  • Proactively identify, develop & nurturing new customers or new segments to seek out opportunity for expanding sales activities in defined region with the aim to provide quality products and services through innovation, learning and operational excellence while sustaining maximum value for our stakeholders.
  • Drive efficiency of BD processes and enhance synergy across regions including collaboration with other internal functions (including cross regions Finance, SCM, SC Planning) and utilizing existing planning, monitoring and forecasting tools to achieve planned sales volumes as per budget.
  • Manage customers manufacturing assets requirements and be the focal person to consolidate all sales needs coming from various countries globally. Supervise all related sales responsible to ensure all set plans and sales process are achieved.
  • Conduct marketing study, market segmentation, netback comparison and other special projects to develop new and innovative solutions and improve product marketability and profitability. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics or Business from an internationally recognized university
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in regional chemical sales preferably in the Petrochemical industry
  • Good knowledge about Chemicals value chain and Supply Chain
