JOB PURPOSE

Working closely with the Distribution Senior Manager in overall channel management activities in ROA, including the following: 

  • Screening, evaluation, selection of channel partners, and execution of Distribution Agreement in line with SABIC standards; Manage relationships with distributors and industry players to collect market information and opportunities.
  • Distribution sales in assigned territory to realize or exceed sales plan in line with distribution strategy and SBU Business plan and ambition.
  • Develop market promotion activities and training program for channel partners and achieve polymer sales volume and value contribution targets. Strong focus on deployment plan in targeted market/ product and optimize number of customers below threshold volume.
  • Periodic review of channel partner's performance and develop clear action plan for future improvement areas; Perform compliance check in line with SABIC standard.
  • Enterprising & influential communicator to help builds partnership and achieve consensus across stakeholders.

 

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Offer, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery conditions, and conclude sales orders and contracts.
  • Execute the Distribution strategy for assigned territory; Manage key distributors relationships, develop market promotion activities and training program for distributors, and prioritize activities to meet the strategy.
  • Set KPI for distributors and arrange periodic performance review with all stake holders to drive performance improvement of distributor.
  • Assess customer needs, collect customer feedback on distributor services and work with stake holders like MDTS, CS, GSC, BU to address any quality or service concerns complaint.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence from market sources and distributors to business and sales leadership.
  • Prepare monthly and annual sales forecast and improve forecast accuracy. Work with respective BU, Demand Planner, and customer service to ensure sufficient allocation to meet BP and prompt order processing.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymers or a business-related discipline is preferred. 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing and sales of Polymers and/or petrochemical related industrial products.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Polymer or Petrochemical related product sales in ROA market is preferred. 
  • Technical knowledge and skills will be an added advantage.
