JOB PURPOSE:

  • Responsible for sales of full polymer products with focus industry throughout the assigned territory.
  • Implement, pursue and maintain polymer products sales and activities to achieve sales targets.
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sales activities of team members for polymers product line(s) among territories throughout China.
  • Tracks, analysis and communicate with team members & BU
  • Recommends action plans to address over/under supply and aligned with BU’s & Sale
  • Direct and Oversees forecasting and market analysis for Polymer products for specific territory/China
  • Grow and develop market for assigned products in [Territory A or Industry X] to achieve sales target.
  • Identifies and leads integrated programs in collaboration at times.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities with 2 new aspects of customer/application/product in assigned [territory/industry] to realize business growth plan.
  • Lead and motivate Industry Clustering members to drive business growth, design training program and internal sharing cross functions. Assist manager(s) to set KPIs and goals.
  • Daily operational activities include:
        • Offer and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions, and conclude sales orders.

• Create solutions for customer potential needs and handle complaints to build cohesive relationships that will bring new opportunities to increase Differentiated/HAV product sales.

• Control and minimize outstanding payment, overdue orders and overdue lifting.

• Prepare monthly and annually sales forecast and improve forecast accuracy.

• Contribute to [or lead] sales process optimization, cross-functional projects actively.

• Regular report market update and sales activities to manager and other internal interactions.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Engineering
  • More than 9 years’ experience in polymers and/or petrochemical related industrial environment.
  • Wide knowledge of polymer and/or petrochemical related products.
  • Very good knowledge of petrochemical industry and working in global organization / environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Petrochemicals and market in Specific terrority / industry
  • Effective project leadership skill to drive process and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Excellent capabity handle application development and industrial trend for specific segment
  • Ability to collaborate and manage indirect customers
  • Strong stakeholder management, people management and leadership skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills and ability to influence effectively and to deal with cultural differences
  • Excellent team player and business relationships
  • Objective and fact based business attitude
  • Good knowledge of financial planning and analysis
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changes.
