JOB PURPOSE:

Job Responsibilities:

Market Development

• Identify new market opportunities through customer interactions and feed it to Global Marketing leaders
• Lead promotion trial at new / existing customers (convertors) of existing portfolio along with Global Marketing.
• Product training and technical seminars (internal/external)

Technical Marketing

• Responsible of existing portfolio & customer technical support for Pipe segments
• Customer technical complains coordination and customer technical support & trouble shooting
• Datasheet ownership of Pipe grades
• Technical Communication packages

Innovation

• Application development support (joint with Technology Application)
• Execute pipe country approval along with Global Marketing

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in polymer/chemical engineering/materials
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in polymers and/or petrochemical related industrial environment.
• Good product and application knowledge in polyethylene and polypropene
• More than 3 years’ experience in (1) technical service; (2) market development; (3) customer development (technical sales) preferred
• Experience on polymer processing, i.e. pipe extrusion, is preferred.
• Experience on asset coordinator preferred.
• Good listening and communication skills
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Good technical background, with commercial sense is better.
• Strong analytical and conceptual selling skills
• Balance of short dated technical support activities and long term market-facing related activities
• Multicultural flexibility and international mindset of building on diversity
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good track record of execution and delivery of project
