JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly driven treasury professional to work in our APAC Regional Treasury Team in China. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing our regional treasury strategy and strengthening connectivity with HQ and other Regional Treasury Centers in Singapore and in Amsterdam.

Reporting to Sr. Manager, APAC Cash Management & Treasury Relationship Management, you will be the regional expert in China for cash and liquidity optimization, banking advisory, and regulatory engagement across China. You will act as the key point of contact with the banks, regulators, and internal stakeholders to drive compliant, efficient and future ready liquidity and financing structures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive China cash and liquidity performance, including forecast reviews, cash repatriation, surplus investments and operational funding.
  • En hance and implement a robust and compliant cash pool structure aligned with regional and global liquidity initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for internal and external treasury stakeholders-banks, regulators, internal functions and business units.
  • Strengthen banking partnership, ensuring strong service delivery, pricing optimization, and proactive advisory support
  • Support treasury related advisory in financing, risk management, and insurance matters across APAC.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree
  • Minimum 8 years of finance experience, with at least 6 years in Treasury within an international org.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management and treasury operations in China
  • Familiarity with SAP treasury, FX regulations, and trade finance process
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and cross cultural collaboration skills
  • Ability to monitor activities across org. and synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Efficient communications and excellent interpersonal skill to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally to reach win-win scenario
  • Ability to work with disparate regional/global teams and activities
  • Strategic agility and timely decision making but capability to “get the job done”.
  • Ability to act across a complex matrix between the regional and global lead functions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
