Job Summary
At SABIC, we provide exceptional opportunities for Applied Technology students to spend time doing technical work. As a production intern, SABIC offers an array of different opportunities to help students develop the skills needed for a career after graduation. Production interns will work on meaningful tasks that have real impact on the business under the guidance of some of our best senior operators, assisting in the extrusion process of plastic pellet production.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Under the guidance of a senior operator, production interns will be assigned to experience the following:
- Safe and environmentally compliant industrial manufacturing operations.
- Lifting materials, connecting line hook-ups; conducting area housekeeping, collecting samples, and cleaning equipment.
- Cleaning, starting up, and monitoring an extrusion process.
- Troubleshooting process issues to maintain stable operations.
- Production Operators are also responsible for following applicable work processes, communicating effectively with other teams and team members, and completing the job specific training.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an Applied Technology Degree from an accredited college/university with a 3.0/4.0 GPA.

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work for SABIC in the United States on a full-time basis.
Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work a 24x5 rotating shift schedule during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
