JOB TITLE: SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE

ORG UNIT NAME: Fulfillment & Maketing

LOCATION: MALAYSIA

 

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for achieving sales goals within a defined geographic area through the effective management of sales channels.  Key Accounts Management to ensure sustainability growth from short to long term.  Ensure demand vs forecast accuracy from all customers and Channels. Understand competitor Landscape in details, develop the growth strategy for the country.  Quality issue resolution lead for all customers' issue.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing sales through channel distribution and key customers to meet the operating plan and contribution margin.
  • Explore new share gain opportunities to ensure 10% growth over Topline on these new opportunities closed.
  • Oversees major accounts with higher growth potentials across sales regions, collect client needs and competitor activity information, proposes account management plan for designated key accounts; negotiates prices.
  • Understands, analyse and interprets complicated material requirements of new customers / new products / new business opportunities, proposes new material solutions based on client’s needs and company delivery capability.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers of the accounts, identifies business opportunities and lines up internal resources to support the sales.
  • Conduct industry analysis, recognizes new market / technology trends and opportunities to improve organizations’ sales and market share.
  • Support high level cost estimation / budgeting by submitting indicative quotation.
  • Understands, analyse and interprets complicated material requirements of new customers / new products / new business opportunities, proposes new material solutions based on client’s needs and company delivery capability.  
  • Understands competitors in the region, growth potentials and development direction of the key accounts.    
  • Act as a contact point between customers, project team,T&I, GApT, BDM and TME. To come up with practical solutions to respond to client’s needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration / Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of technical sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Specialties Thermoplastics Experience.
  • Specialties Polymers (e.g. PEI, PPA, PPSU, PES, PEEK, PPS, LCP, PPE, Copolymer PC, Compounding polymers) experience required.
  • Good business acumen, account management, daily operational commercial skills, project management skills, good market (plastics) and product knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams.
  • Result-oriented mindset; good in execution; good in exploring new business growth; good in effective strategic relationship with customers.
