Job Summary

Responsible for volume growth of Polymer SBU products in the Healthcare Segment to be achieved via business development initiatives with key innovative global Healthcare Brand Owners based in the Americas region. Key responsibilities include identifying and acting on strategic alignment with brand owners to build the opportunity pipeline (both share shift and new application) and grow top line volume. Leverage the SABIC Polymers BU portfolio and capabilities to enable Brand Owners to meet their technical needs and business goals.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Build Brand Owner intimacy by facilitating executive sponsorship and leveraging multiple customer’s facing touch points via technical, marketing, sustainability, regulatory, etc. support.
  • Execute commercial contracts with Brand Owners to establish price and volume commitments to be realized throughout the value chain partner map (all associated captive and 3rd party processing locations).
  • Understand and support SABIC regional sales or distribution sales teams responsible for coverage of Brand Owners' global value chain partners to strengthen SABIC position.  Value chain partner map includes all entities that process SABIC Product on behalf of Brand Owner.
  • Work with SABIC Application Development Specialist to build new application opportunity pipeline and drive new close volume.
  • Lead collaborative initiatives via internal cross-functional teams to drive portfolio innovation to address unmet market needs/trends.
  • Apply a value based pricing approach covering the process from identification of the business opportunity to the implementation of the business based on a certain premium and differentiation.
  • Understand needs of the customer and provide new unique solutions (grade/recipe/process parameter/testing etc..) tailored to suit specific needs offering a differentiated approach.

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • B.S. Degree, Masters or higher in technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, etc).
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in marketing/sales/business or technical relevant role.
  • Experience in the Petrochemical industry (Market, customers, competitors).
  • Entrepreneurial with a passion for getting results.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, lead in a matrix environment (ability to influence at all levels in the organization).
  • Fluent in English. Speaking more languages is an advantage.
