Job Summary
Responsible for volume growth of Polymer SBU products in the Healthcare Segment to be achieved via application development initiatives with key innovative global Brand Owners based in the Americas region. Key responsibilities include identifying and acting on strategic alignment with brand owners to build opportunity pipeline and commercialize new programs/volume. Leverage the SABIC Polymers BU portfolio and capabilities to enable Brand Owners to meet their technical needs and speed-to-market goals.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Build Brand Owner intimacy by providing all aspects of technical support in order to qualify SABIC products for existing or new applications and drive new volume growth.
- Understand and provide technical support to SABIC regional sales or distribution sales teams responsible for coverage of Brand Owners' global value chain partners to strengthen SABIC position. Value chain partner map includes all entities that process SABIC Product on behalf of Brand Owner.
- Lead collaborative initiatives with internal stakeholders via cross-functional teams to drive portfolio innovation (NPIs) to address unmet market needs/trends.
- Create Brand Owner technical profile including value chain partner map, key technical contacts/locations, internal coverage team, opportunity pipeline, competitive position, etc.
- Provide all technical needs for key Healthcare Brand Owners, including: ( Application reviews: material selection, plastic part design, processing & tooling reviews. Documentation requests: Property Data Sheets, Regulatory Data Sheets, UL Yellow Cards. Sample requests: resin, molded test specimens, color chips. Lunch & Learn technical sessions. Sustainability and Regulatory needs reviews)
What Matters to SABIC
- B.S. Degree, Masters or higher in technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, etc).
- Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in marketing/sales/business or technical relevant role.
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry required.
- Experience in the Plastics Industry required.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, lead in a matrix environment (ability to influence at all levels in the organization).
- Entrepreneurial with a passion for getting results.
- Fluent in English. Speaking more languages is an advantage.
