Job Summary

Responsible for leading distribution teams to grow SABIC Specialities business throughout the Northeast.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

 

  • Develop and execute strategy to achieve price, volume, and contribution margin growth targets.
  • Develop a strategy for sales growth and lead the execution of plans with a rigorous operating rhythm.
  • Create and reinforce a shared vision of growth that provides focus and motivation for our distribution channels while achieving BU/OU financial expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders, product management, and marketing to implement customer, product, and marketing strategies through our distribution channels.
  • Develop strong working relationships with distribution channels.
  • Support the Commercial and Technology aspects of driving the close of new business programs.
  • Provide accurate monthly demand forecast by product line by working with each distributor as well as an update to the current year dynamic walk.

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years sales or marketing experience in plastics or chemicals required, with a focus on material selection or application development highly preferred
  • Self-starter with the drive and passion to succeed
  • Excellent communication and matrix management skills
  • Commercial sense to deliver results
  • Strong business acumen
