Job Summary

  • Lead the implementation of approved marketing plans and achieve all desired objectives in terms of development and market research.
  • Execute strategy and contribute to the achievement of all SABIC polymer product through market research and analysis.
  • Drive growth strategy of all SABIC polymer products on assigned territories, including the compounding business from Baroda manufacturing plant.
  • Drive strategy & plan for all SABIC polymer products, starting from sales to resolution of all customer concerns and issues, identify new markets/customers to drive higher sales.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Drive annual marketing plans and overall strategy for the assigned India geography for all SABIC Polymer products.
  • Grow sales with identification of new potential markets within the country for all SABIC Polymer products. Manage all existing and new accounts and drive customer satisfaction by providing value add & timely resolution of all concerns and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing, competitor analysis, customer retention, promotion, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility. Promote & grow SABIC business in line with set targets.
  • Share information on competitor activity to the relevant seniors and advice/recommend action to respond to changing market conditions and demands. Ability to analyze market demand and supply situation, and position SABIC products to drive growth.
  • Conduct full market study and develop strategies for market penetration and growth as well as analysis for new applications and customers.
  • Responsible for all SABIC polymer products to collate market information and competitors’ activities and report findings /proposals to management. Liaison with BI team to provide timely information and ability to analyze the report to take proactive actions for growth.
  • Perform special assignments periodically, including but not limited to: Monthly/ weekly / report.
  • Be the focal for the assigned BU to drive marketing strategy and grow DIFF/HAV portfolio while managing the products in the region.
  • Engage and participate in regional/global/corporate/functional projects and initiatives.

 

What Matters to SABIC 

  • University degree or above, major in Polymer/Engineering/Business Administration or related discipline.     
  • 6-8 years of experience, drive and maturity.
  • Marketing knowledge to implement market research   
  • Strategies related to industrial products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and market players and share the research findings with the customers
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated Proficient in spoken and written English.
