ORG UNIT: Polymers SBU

LOCATION (CITY/COUNTRY): Mumbai, India

HIRING MANAGER: Sr. Manager, Regional Sales

 

Job Summary:

  • To assist in the implementation of approved marketing plans and achieve all desired objectives in terms of development and market research.
  • Support the BU Manager to execute strategy and contribute to the achievement of the Polymer BU & ETP BU through Market research and analysis.
  • Drive growth startegy of all SABIC polymers and ETP products on his assigned territories

 

How You Can Be the Impact:

  • To execute activities as per the annual marketing plans and overall strategy for the assigned India geography.                                                                    
  • Be the single point of contact for all assigned accounts and ensure timely resolution of all issues.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing, competitor analysis, customer retention, promotion, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.                                                            
  • Share information on competitor activity to relevant seniors so that they can respond to changing market conditions and demands.                                                           
  • Conduct market surveys and analysis for tapping new applications and customers.                      
  • Assist BU Manager(s) to collate market information and competitors’ activities and report findings /proposals to management.                                                                      
  • Perform special assignments periodically, including but not limited to:Monthly/ weekly / report.
  • Increase SABIC  Business from (Diff/ Hav) grades and maxmize value creation       

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • University degree or above, major in Polymer or related discipline     
  • Excellent Command of English (written and spoken)                                               
  • Min 5 years of experience, drive and maturity                                
  • Marketing knowledge to implement market research   
  • Strategies related to industrial products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and market players and share the research findings with the customers
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated

 

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Monday – Friday)] during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
