Department
The Site Maintenance department is responsible for safely maintaining all site assets (building & grounds, process equipment, etc). The scope includes planning & scheduling of the maintenance activities. The department is also responsible for the planning and execution of the cyclic Turnaround activities in addition to run & maintain activities throughout the year.
JOB SUMMARY
Leads all aspects of the Lexan Finishing, SHPP Finishing, and CPP maintenance processes through subordinate supervisors to ensure and improve the availability of the plant equipment at the largest, most complex site(s) consistent with business and manufacturing goals. Provides direction to the maintenance organization, including work plans, priorities and cost management, planning, scheduling, material coordination, reliability, outage management and spare parts inventory.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Manage all Maintenance Engineers for the designated areas.
- Complete mid-year and annual feedback for all Maintenance Leads
- Post, interview and hire all replacements needed for above positions.
- Ensure units execute Schedules weekly as planned to the efficiency and completions commitments
- Complete PMs as scheduled and optimize execution through continuous improvement.
- Work with Site TA team to function as the Cost Engineer
What Matters to SABIC
- BS Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience preferably in the chemical industry
- Budget experience but not necessary
- Travel: training, sharing best practices with other sites in the region

Preferred Experience
- 5 years experience extruding polymers from powder or pellet.

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Monday – Friday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
