Job Summary
Reliability Technicians are responsible for helping enhance quality, improve safety, and drive the continuous improvement of the predictive maintenance program. Technicians collaborate with engineers and maintenance technicians to perform specialized repairs and testing in support of the predictive maintenance program.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Responsible for program execution, including database development, data collection and analysis, corrective and follow-up action plans, reporting, documentation, and cost analysis
- Must have strong understanding of the OMS-431 Maintenance work process & drive compliance as it pertains to predictive work order scope
- Demonstrate the ability to organize predictive approaches and operate within a team environment to deliver measurable improvements in equipment reliability
- Develop expertise in all predictive and preventative maintenances practices used by the Site Reliability Group.
- Predictive maintenance technologies used at this time are Vibration Monitoring, Oil Analysis, Infrared Scanning, & Ultrasonic Testing.

What Matters to SABIC
Required:
- SABIC MTV Journeyman Mechanic, Electrician, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance
- Must have successfully completed the Assessment Center or Development Plan Needs.
Preferred:
- Completion of pre-apprenticeship curriculum for Reliability Technicians via Red Vector. Contact WFD for details
- Familiarity with PC applications such as Word, Excel.
- Self-Motivated
Physical Requirements:
This role is comprised of a mixture of:
- Sitting
- Standing
- Walking throughout plant to process equipment
- Climbing fixed and portable ladders
- Entering vessels for inspection activities.
- Needs to comply with site regulations for PPE while in process areas
- Occasionally lifting 50 pounds

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday - Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
