Job Summary
•    Support automotive customers with material selection process
•    Support application and market development for automotive application molded in SABIC     materials
•    Support application development process with customers
•    Coordinate structural and process simulation
•    Provide molding support to customers trials
•    Identify new business opportunities and clarify customer technical needs
•    Support internal and external product training 
•    Initiate and support product quality and issue resolution
•    Align and support automotive commercial team for business growth
•    Translate technical application and product knowledge to Automotive customers
•    Develop and execute regional segment strategy focused on key applications

 

How You Can Be the Impact
•    Technical account management for automotive customers molding polypropylene resins
•    Identify and initiate leads for application and/or product development
•    Provide technical customer and plant support (molding/tooling/material)
•    Handling, analyzing and reporting on technical customer complaints
•    Implementation/communication of corrective actions and issue resolution
•    Support customers with product selection, application development and launch support
•    Maintaining up to date product, processing and characterization knowledge
•    Process validation of products and applications at Automotive customers
•    Issue resolution for product issues at customer locations
•    Identify, initiate and manage new business development projects 
•    Support material specification and application approvals
•    Provide technical “voice of the customer” to the commercial and technology teams

  
What Matters to SABIC
• Bachelor degree in field of expertise (e.g. Polymer Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent
• Proficient in the use of process oriented tools (e.g. Kaizen, six sigma GB/BB certified, LEAN, FMEA) preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications and process optimization tools (e.g. Minitab) prefered

 

Language: Bilingual ( English & Spanish) - English Proficiency for Business Discussions 


• More than 7 – 15 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lead, direct, guide, plan & develop new projects & programs
• Polymer processing and application development experience
• Excellent communication skills, including English proficiency
