JOB PURPOSE
Define, Plan & Coordinate all activities for Capital & MRO Materials related to his discipline in line with Department Standard Procedures, applicable Operation Management System and industrial best practices to support safe, reliable & efficient operation of GAS production facilities within approved budgets.
JOB KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Comply with GAS Operation Management System (OMS) and contribute in achieving targets and objectives linked to his department in all Value Drivers (EHSS, People and Organization, Sustainability & Energy, Production, Asset Integrity, and Cost Effectiveness)
• Ensure the availability of all stock and non-stock materials. Utilize MDRM system to create / update material in line with defined parameters (Equipment BOM) in close coordination with Projects group, AE sections and GPS (Inventory, Warehouse, Materials Standardization & Procurement).
• Follow up and Expedite ordering & availability of required materials through normal procurement process as well as Street Buying.
• Perform technical evaluation of received bids / offers (seek support for R&I / experts, as needed) to ensure that ordered materials confirm to specifications & schedule requirements.
• Inspect materials with concerned Engineer & Requester upon receipt to confirm their acceptance. Seek support from AE / Experts, as needed. Follow-up with GPS for OSDR materials resolution.
• Expedite Refurbishment process for repairable equipment & materials in line with assets classification through PM04 order type and allocate costs to the asset number.
• Coordinate with GPS, Vendor, OEM, Logistics etc. for refurbishment process till the item are received at GAS site.
• Identify stock items, lead-time overseas orders, create purchase requisitions for direct purchases or special stock reorders, follow up receipt of material till delivered at GAS site. Expedite SES / GR once material are received to process valid invoices in time, minimizing accruals and timely financial closing of work orders.
• Coordinate with GPS for VB & ZB materials ordering. Follow-up with GPS logistics for timely delivery (special tracking for delayed deliveries).
• Ensure the all TA materials timely availability. Coordinate with warehouse & T/A planning group to palletize T/A or Shutdown related materials. Arrange issuance of palletized materials to the maintenance sections or contractors, as applicable, and ensure timely return of unused materials to the warehouse.
• Continually improve his knowledge with effectively completing the assigned IDPs, learning assignment and keep up to date in new discovery and best practices in his field.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree in required discipline.
• 8 years’ experience in process industry assets / materials management and hands-on experience in SAP
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQIREMENTS
• Effective Communication skills.
• Skillful in using Microsoft office applications and SAP.
• Skillful in using Material Management Software (MDRM).
• Expert in reading Equipment data sheet & Drawings.
