JOB PURPOSE

 

Define activities, resources, methods and create maintenance orders / packs in line with Standard Planning Procedures, applicable OMS Standards and industrial best practices enabling maintenance teams to safely and efficiently execute routine maintenance of GAS facilities with no or minimum equipment downtime. Such planned work orders shall serve as key input to the Scheduler for scheduling maintenance activities.

 


JOB KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

 

• Comply with GAS Operation Management System (OMS) and contribute in achieving targets and objectives linked to his department in all Value Drivers (EHSS, People and Organization, Sustainability & Energy, Production, Asset Integrity, and Cost Effectiveness).
• Review new SAP notifications and clarify work contents (with support from Operations & maintenance discipline, as applicable), accept notifications meeting required quality criteria and convert them to a right work order type Maintain a list of Work Orders that are on-hold either due to non-availability / release of equipment (H-30 Status).

• Review with Operations on weekly basis to assess the possibility of releasing the related equipment and plan the work orders for equipment agreed to be released.
• Create Work Orders / Job Packages with complete information (job plans, task lists, activity type, work center, crafts, estimated duration & hours, external services, fleet objects and required spares / materials reservations with costs allocated to right CC / GL / WBS) to allow efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance work.
• Coordinate with materials section to ensure ordering & availability of required materials including Street Buying (SBR) needs.  Also, coordinate for equipment requiring repair / reconditioning through PM04 Refurbishment process.
• Ensure SES / GR are issued at work completion / goods receipt to process valid invoices in time, minimizing accruals and timely financial closing of work orders.
• Assign applicable hold status to work orders awaiting requisites for execution and expedite required actions to make them ready for scheduling.
• Ensure no notifications and work orders (specially related to any EHSS Critical Equipment) are pending without any justified reason.
• Issue Weekly status reports to ensure compliance with PM programs of EHSS Critical Equipment & Devices.
• Upon completion of PM for each EHSS Critical item (PSV, Critical Instruments) update its next due date in master data maintenance plan as per the frequency and actual work completion date.
• Ensure quality & completeness of historical data at TECO / NOCO of maintenance work in SAP i.e.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Maintenance work KPIs and implement identified corrective action, as applicable. 
• Weekly  review of PCNF Work Orders. Check and update the job package if necessary. Discuss the requirements to the SCHEDULER so he can realign the schedule. Reason to reschedule must be properly identified for monitoring purposes.
• Continually improve his knowledge with effectively completing the assigned IDPs, learning assignment and keep up to date in new discovery and best practices in his field.

 

 

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


• B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years’ experience in the field with process industry and hands-on experience in SAP. 
• Must have the knowledge, experience and skills of day-to-day maintenance planning and scheduling activities.

 


COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQIREMENTS 

 

• Effective Communication skills.
• Skillful in using Microsoft office applications and SAP.
• Understanding of Equipment designs and Engineering Drawings.
