Job Purpose:

 

  • Provide management accounting skills to achieve continuous efficient financial monthly closures.
  • Manage through CF, FBP and work closely with Finance & Production Planning leader to report accounting operations, financial statements for all statutory reporting purpose quarterly, annually and deliveries of financial information’s to all auditors adequately per rules and regulations, preform monthly financial closures, and support in leading the annual plan and budget executions exercise and meet the reporting time schedules, optimization and management reporting to support decision making for sharq.

 

 

 

 

Job Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Assurance for the statutory reporting, including quarterly/annual financial statements for sharq, is completed on schedule and is compliant with the accepted accounting and financial reporting standards in Saudi Arabia, as per IFRS required.
  • Review sharq's financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review compliance for special reports as per IFRS (financial standards).
  • Support the Finance & Production Planning leader with the planning and execution of corporate requirements to obtain reasonable assurance that all significant financial risks are identified and effectively mitigated.                                                       
  • Collaborate with external auditing services and internal audit to ensure proper compliance with all regulations, including the adequate delivery of financial information to all auditors per the rules and regulations.
  • Assure adequate internal controls over the financial reporting framework for such processes as required by IFRS & SABIC reporting requirements.
  • Manage periodic account-closing requirements and coordination with related parties.
  • Manage the business interface with CF& FBP to align with reporting schedules.   
  • Ensure financial closures are made in accordance with the schedule.          
  • Manage and work closely with EPM & FBP on budgeting, costing, and business analysis; advise management and others on financial performance.   
  • Support top-down financial strategies , financial risk management & recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes with affiliates, FBP & Corporate Finance.
  • Assure the quality of the monthly financial reporting package & the capital expenditure report.          
  • Assure all AUCs are maintained in accordance with agreed-upon procedures and guidelines.           
  • Assurance of full coverage of the Company’s assets, coordination with SABIC risk management for CIP, and coordination of other insurance policies with SS Insurance Services for property all risks. Claim recovery management.
  • Adopt compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor financial internal control policies and procedures and financial risk management.                                   
  • Ensure proper coordination with the costing team when there are SD or TAM activities.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Education:

 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics or finance.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Experience:

 

3 years of experience with experience in manufacturing finance, costing, and project management.

 

 

 

 

Job Specific Skills/Competencies:

 

  • Complete end to end understanding and hands on experience of SAP MM, FICO & PP module.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advance analytical skills capability & business case presentation.

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
