JOB PURPOSE
To support operations in complex trouble shooting, unit performance assurance and optimization, long term improvements, and studies development and to to support operations for justified & non-justified customer complaint handling by investigation, verification and conducting RCAs.
KEY ACOUNTABILITIES
1 To support operations in complex trouble shooting, unit performance assurance and optimization, long term improvements and studies development.
2 Justified Customer complaint handling by investigation and conducting RCAs
3 Non-justified customer complaint handling by verifying the complaint
4 New grade introductions
5 Existing grade improvement
6 Trials of new Catalysts/Additives & Donor, Packaging material
7 Qualification of new supplier
8 Resolution of Quality complaints in suppliers Catalyst, Additives and Donor
9 Quality audit of Suppliers and Product warehouses
10 Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports.
11 Lab analysis of Customer complaint samples.
12 Quarterly audit of the Outside warehouse
13 PP Quality training to the PHD staff for the Final physical check before dispatch to Customers.
14 Silos and conveying system inspection
15 PP sampling system and operations audit
16 Analysis of the FBL lot samples which has discrepancies with the online sample results
17 Supporting with data for the CC RCAs and follow-up for RCA implementation.
18 Tracking of the quality audit observations for completion and sample audits.
19 Catalyst/Additives warehouse audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Petrochemicals/Polymers.
Job Specific Skills & Competencies:
• Good knowledge of international standards, codes and regulations
• Good knowledge of Company policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of Process and process Safety best practices
• Computer literate and hands on experience in applicable software
• Knowledgeable of PP UNIPOL gas-Phase Process control and APC

• Demonstrates continuous learning; strives to increase knowledge, skills and experiences in a function/ industry

• Knowledgeable of Process Safety, risk assessment Methodologies, PHA techniques, Knowledge of Quantitative Risk Assessment QRA and ALARP.
• Appreciable background about fluidized bed Reactions, APC utilization, Extrusion System, Solid Conveying system.
• Capable and Knowledgeable of driving Sustainability Strategies and its KPIs.
• Capable to build organization competency and capability per OMS/MEM’s expectations.
• S&O plans commitment and facilitation with TM.
• Drive production and EHSS enhancement Projects to meet objectives (safety, quality, cost, time)
• Reinforcement of Process Safety Safeguards.
• Capable to lead new trials of grades and catalyst to improve plant (capacity, quality, efficiency, reliability).
• Drive process, organization and business cost optimization.
• Leading collaboration thru diversity & knowledge sharing.
• Uses available internal and external resources to get work done

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
