Job Purpose:
To carry out all Engineering & necessary inspection work required to ensure plant integrity and reliability for safe and efficient plants operation.
Job Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out all on-stream and shutdown investigation & analysis after inspection of stationary equipment, pressure relieving devices and release recommendations, and leading the inspection staff during site inspection activities to maintain asset integrity and reliability.
- Review all engineering design packages and provide inputs through proper communication to internal and external customers.
- Perform all engineering programming tools such as Caeser for piping stress analysis, PV elite for pressure vessel stress analysis, ANSYS for finite element cases to ensure static equipment integrity.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives
- Explore new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of inspection activity.
- Implement approved Section policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures in order to support execution of the Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards
- Provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Stationary Section objectives
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum Experience:
15 years in Static equipment design and inspection work.

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
