Job Purpose:
Actively support the specific goal of assuring static assets remain fit for purpose until the projected end of field life dates by providing technical support and developing equipment integrity strategy.
Job Key Accountabilities:
- Monitoring and analyze assets performance to predict and mitigate equipment failures by proactive actions and effective equipment strategy.
- Carry out technical studies and failure investigations to pinpoint equipment degradation and develop suitable recommendations that will ensure equipment reliability and integrity.
- Provide technical support to plant maintenance departments as and when needed during event of major maintenance and complex troubleshooting.
- Review static equipment scope for critical TAM equipment & provide technical support during TAM execution for major and unexpected findings during TAM execution period.
- Participate in assigned RBI/RCM assessment as a team member and review PM strategy for plant assets.
- Assume the role as CDTL for static related MOCs and participate in CDP preparation for other discipline MOC as applicable.
- As well as, completing technical review of E&PM project documents at different stages.
- Participate in or utilize SABIC MFG CoE virtual domains to supports special topic / subject related to static equipment as required.
- Participate in a team or workshop like RCA, PHA, Risk Assessment, MOC Committee etc.
Minimum Education:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field
Job Specific Skills/Competencies:
- Experience in refinery/ petrochemicals industry is preferable
- Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge in integrity analysis tools and methodologies for static equipment.
- Knowledge in international codes & standards related to static equipment
- Knowledge of SAP and Meridium APM preferred
- Continuous drive towards learning, developing, growing and improving
- Good knowledge in Environment Health & Safety standards and risk management tools.
- Good presentation skills, effective verbal and written skills & interacts effectively with all levels of the organization on technical topics.
- Leader and self-starter, takes the initiative in applying, developing and communicating technical issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability in decision making in accordance to business demand.

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
