Job Purpose:
To lead and implement initiatives that drive Sustainability, carbon neutrality and enhance energy efficiency across the organization. This role is important in developing strategies, managing projects and ensure compliance with regulations. Thereby contributing to the organization sustainability goals and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement the company’s sustainability strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and stakeholders’ expectation.
- Assure successful implementation of sustainability and energy management system
- Ensure Full Compliance with Saudi Energy Efficiency Centre requirements and other regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee the execution of comprehensive plan to achieve carbon neutrality.
- Lead the preparation of sustainability part of annual Report to be published publicly
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and cost saving while improving environmental outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum Experience:
- 3 years experience in Operation/ Process engineering; special emphasis on SEEC, Carbon Neutrality and Energy Management.
Job Specific Skills:
- Understanding of Carbon Neutrality fundamentals
- Understanding of Energy Management fundamentals
- Provide best technical output and its effective execution
Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
