Job Purpose:
Develop and optimize an equipment strategy that improve long-term equipment reliability. Also, strengthen focus on asset management to improve asset performance
and provide technical support for reliable operations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive rotating equipment OMS KPIs implementation to sustain and improve safety, reliability and availability.
- Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance to troubleshoot and fix rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Identify, evaluate, participate and implement SABIC initiative to improve the maintenance & reliability of rotating equipment.
- Support team to develop and manage the rotating equipment RCM and lead RCA.
- Provide expert knowledge on safety and reliability related programs applicable to SABIC OMS.
- Participate in internal and external rotating equipment technical networks, forums, conferences and committees.
- Train to develop and mentor of maintenance and operation staff related to rotating equipment function.
- Suggest concerns related to equipment/facilities to concern function for improvement opportunities.
- Participate in method of statement for repairing of critical equipment.
- Field audit for Rotating equipment Reliability program implementation status.
- Recommend and implement upgrades/modifications to rotating equipment to increase reliability and reduce maintenance cost and operating issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience
- Broad experience in Petrochemical/Fertilizer Plant or Refinery Equipment.
- Thorough knowledge / skills for maintenance / reliability of rotating equipment & maintenance planning with the ability to create and implement reliable systems.
- Broad experience in Process and/or Petrochemical Plant Equipment.
Job Specific Skills:
- Fluent in English and computer using knowledge.
- Good decision making and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment & to evaluate rotating equipment performance to determine production optimization opportunities.
Work Availability:
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
