Job Purpose:
- To support operations in troubleshooting Polymer plants performance.
- Play the role of technical assurance and continuous optimization.
- Long term improvements and development of studies to uplift process limitations.
Job Key Accountabilities:
- Provide process ‘know how’ support for plant upset, complex trouble shooting, shutdown and start-up, and ensuring plant process integrity through a well-defined operating envelope.
- Participate in HAZOP studies and highlight potential process safety concerns.
- Develop project feasibility studies project development package to meet all CAPEX cycle requirements.
- Develop studies scope ensuring they meet plant requirements with highest cost effectiveness and within required time frame.
- Review "Process" (MOCC) and approved concept development package (CDP).
- Improve Catalyst performance to sustain consistent catalyst batches performance for smooth operation of the reactor.
- Continuously optimize feedstock (TMR, Chemical & Additives) that will help in closure of PTAI and SVR initiatives.
- Continuously improve TPS operation continuity, reducing quality troubles in (TPS), and monitor utilities consumption.
- Participate/lead teams responsible for implementing new products and processes.
- Manage the communication with the Licensor, Technology and innovation(T&I),Center of Excellence COE, and other affiliates & vendors.
- Carryout process modeling as required to support of optimizing and modification requirements.
- Accurately report sustainability KPI's (SABIC & SEEC) for PE plants and suggest/implement ideas to reduce the gaps.
- Provide required Process assistance for TAM related items.
- Perform all Tasks / activities assigned by Department leader in terms of development and/or business demand.
Minimum Education:
BS degree in chemical engineering.
Minimum Experience:
5 Years experience in chemical process operation /process.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, procedures and legislative process.
- Excellent communication skills and experience applying technology through teamwork.
- Maintain confidential and proprietary information.
- Conducting business with high professional standards.
- Excellent time management and working under pressure skills.
- Excellent communication skills and motivation to effectively coach internal staff and work with outside groups and agencies.

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
