Job Purpose:
- Provide day-to-day operations & technical support required to maintain plant in order to meet planned production. This includes troubleshooting, plant optimization, & maintaining plant economics and finances.
- Lead plant debottlenecking, commissioning and optimization of plant performance and track key yield parameters to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Plant.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered-to in accordance with SHEM and applicable local & International Standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Reporting:
- Daily monitoring of the plant performance reports. (Operating conditions).
- Overall quality and productivity reports issues relating to product.
- Daily production reports.
- Environment reports.
- Shutdown reports.
- Month end closing reports
Troubleshooting:
- Trouble shoot all operational issue/deviations and provide immediate technical solutions.
- Monitor the production quality and advice for corrective action to maintain quality.
- Identify production losses.
- Initiate and leads troubleshooting tasks that requires consorted efforts by other departments (i.e. PED, AED, QA.. etc)
Planning:
- Prepare production plan and coordinate with business planning accordingly.
- Communicate with SBU.
- Communicate with PLE.
- Verify invoices i.e feedstock, chemicals and catalyst
Modifications, Projects & Capex:
- PHA and HAZOP studies for MOC’S packages.
- Coordinate Modification Implementation & oversee MOCs process.
- Review Design Packages (CDPs).
- Lead CAPEX.
- Business development coordination with SABIC T&I
Safety:
- Participate in Accident / Incident Investigation Committees as required and recommend corrective action.
- Participate in HAZOP revalidation.
- Conduct necessary Risk Assessment.
- Conduct PSSRs as required
Plant Performance:
- Participate in the SOP review.
- Ensure and monitor Plant sustainability performance.
- Advice on plant waste management.
- Suggest Operating techniques and improvements.
- Responsible for Plant Production and Throughput.
- Improve production cost.
- Participate in RCA, RIS, RBI and RCM studies.
- Review Unit Operation Data & parameters.
- Merridium incidents closure, data quality and SAP Raw Materials, chemicals and production reconciliation activities.
- Inputs for value team meetings and performance enhancement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering or Equivalent
