Job Purpose:

Perform daily monitoring of cyber security performance and provide technical and maintenance support services related to OT Infrastructure and SABIC cyber security controls.

  • Daily monitoring of system performance and provide solutions to cyber security controls
  • Maintain cyber security controls, cyber security requirements and close all related gaps to meet the accepted maturity level.
  • To ensure the availability of Management System, Procedures, Work Instructions, and best practices to manage and control all related activities.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Promote process network Security awareness amongst all plants personnel. Ensure compliance of plant networks, systems security and control requirements stated in SABIC standards.                                                  
  • Continuously evaluate existing plant networks and systems for reliability, effectiveness and compliance with the Company’s Cyber standards and procedures.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter expert for plant in the fields of OT networking and provide consultation and maintenance support.   
  • Manage and maintain OT network firewalls between the Automation Network and the Process Control, DMZ and corporate Networks. Maintain SABTANK Cyber Security Maturity Level to meet SABIC ATC security requirements.                                             
  • Respond to any network security breaches or suspected incident.
  • Ensure that the company’s OT systems are kept safe by implementing the correct security measures                                               
  • Develop procedures, to manage cyber security risks to acceptable operational levels and increase operational Information Security maturity in line with corporate Information Security polices and standards.
  • Lead project design reviews in his area of specialty in support of the company’s capital projects.                                                     
  • Assist planning engineer in planning jobs/tasks such as manhours, spare requirement, PM intervals, budgetary figures and any other relevant information, as required.                                                      
  • Update equipment documentation as and when necessary.
  • Participate in RCA as team member, as required.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Instrument Engineering, System / Computer Engineering or a related engineering degree

 

 

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position in Process, Fertilizer, Petrochemical Industry or Refinery preferably in the area of networking, and control System.

 

 

Job Specific Skills:

  • Strong, hands-on technical experience with network technologies (e.g., Cisco) and diverse Information Security technologies (e.g., firewalls, anti-malware, etc
  • Experience in large ICS/OT environments, preferably in Oil & Gas. Strong, hands-on technical experience with Industrial Control System solutions (e.g., Distributed Control Systems, SCADA, etc)
  • Solid knowledge on Microsoft Platform and servers, CCNA, CCIE, IEC62443 & other vendor certification on Security products"                                        
  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions"                                             

 

 

 

Work Availability:

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
