Job Purpose:
Lead and drive the maintenance mechanical engineering function requirements from engineering analysis, troubleshooting & problems solving, and assuring quality/understanding of standard maintenance procedures and contractors’ scope of work requirements in plants, shutdowns and turnarounds to support the company operations management systems objectives as applicable.
Key Accountabilities:
- Comply with KEMYA Operation Management System (OMS) and contribute in achieving targets and objectives linked to his department in Value Drivers (EHSS, People and Organization, Sustainability & Energy, Production, Asset Integrity, and Cost Effectiveness).
- Provide technical mechanical support to keep plant operation as per the design with effective and efficient resolution of all PM and CM work orders with providing recommendations, SMPs, and contractors scope of work as applicable.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and effectively conduct root cause analysis and drive the recommendations execution. Also conduct performance analysis for mechanical equipment to support proactive maintenance plans development.
- Support the maintenance team in technical changes encountered in daily plans executions. shutdown/turnaround preparations and major maintenance projects.
- Participate effectively in T/A, Shutdown preparation, execution, quality checks, and following up on findings. Participate in annual budget preparation by providing all required data to effectively plan departments FCC expenses and capital investments in major maintenance projects and capital spare parts.
- Enhance mechanical team knowledge by effectively contribute to the team development plans and continually improve his knowledge in the mechanical field with effectively completing the assigned IDPs objectives and keep up to date in new discovery and best practices in his field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Sunday – Thursday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
