Product Manager, MEAF
Job Summary:
We are looking for a candidate to join our Polyurethan Sales department as a Sales Account Manager.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
As part of the team, you will be responsible:
• Reflecting PU Global vision & strategy into comprehensive business and sales plans for TR & CIS region
• Propose & implement sales plans through diligent negotiations of term and spot business with customers to pursue the business strategy.
• Conduct a regular market intelligence study for Global Business reflecting the target status, evaluate the findings and intimate recommendations to PU Global leaders.
• Account for smooth & efficient operational Order-to-Cash process utilizing monitoring and forecasting tools; monitor account performance by engaging and collaborating with customers and various internal stakeholders.
• Support MDTS new product mapping in TR & CIS via sales channel expansions of Polyurethane.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the PU market in TR & CIS region, imported PU materials within MEAF Region.
• Drive business to achieve the best sustainable profitable accounts for PU products in TR & CIS countries.
• Assist in the preparation of Value Team (VT) meeting presentation on bi-monthly basis. Assist in other internal reporting required on a monthly/ quarterly basis (GS&OP, PU BU Monthly meeting, Profitability report, etc.)
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer or Business Administration
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the market as a sales
- Fluent in Turkish and English
- Completed military obligation
- Effective communication and problem-solving capability, and can drive for results in terms of volume, price and other targets.
- Identify market opportunity in relation to government policy, macro-economics, supply/demand, competitors, inventory and feedstock information.
- Identify internal conflicts among different departments and stakeholders within a given set of business policy and guidelines and escalate any resolved issues.
- Review related working processes (Sales, Technical Marketing, SCM, Finance) on a regular basis and recommend improvements to maximize profitability or efficiency.
