Sr. Talent Acquisition Analyst

Job Purpose:

This role will execute Talent Acquisition activities for professional roles, and provide best practice talent acquisition transformation; both via direct and vendor obtained recruitment services to all sites in line with SABIC talent strategy. This is a high impact role requiring extraordinary partner skills with validated ability and experience to execute recruiting strategy, influence partners, provide insight into talent market to take the best approach, and deliver results. This regional role encompasses executing Talent Acquisition strategic transformation, integration, employer branding recruitment capability, development, reporting, and communications and coaching for all recruitment staff & work streams in the Americas sites. Manages the contract administration for third parties services.        


  • Key-administrator role for Applicant Tracking System. Coordinate upgrades and improvements as agreed with regional recruiting leaders for the scope of the system. Maintain system user records and authorization levels. Maintain communication templates.     
  • Analyze the current and future labor market conditions in reference to SABIC workforce plans and asses the sustainability of the short and long term recruiting approaches by defining alternative scenarios and mitigation actions for risks to meet the recruiting demand.     
  • Collaborate with HR Operation, C&B and all HRBP’s for a unified service to the business from Corporate HR     
  • Act as an ambassador of SABIC at all times, demonstrating core values; focused especially on Integrity. And promote SABIC as an
  • Employer of Choice including further development of "People Who Can" brand     
  • Maintain active relationships with key external talent acquisition channels including Executive Retained Search/Headhunting firms, Social networks and Key industry and professional associations     
  • Review and analyze relevant data and trends (including assessment of talent/diversity gaps) to provide insights. Lead the implementation of a hiring plan for a complex organization, area or talent pool that addresses short-term and long-term talent supply (availability) and demand needs. Implement innovative sourcing strategies for a division, set of countries, or subsidiaries, integrating multiple concepts (e.g., community building, business intelligence) and taking into account talent/diversity gaps. Work with team to leverage long-term relationships with talent pools and communities across the industry to identify candidates     
  • Develop effective administration processes of external staffing for professional roles.     
  • Administer the 3rd parties contracts (e.g. RPO, vendors, etc.) and manage all invoices & performance reports     
  • Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition partners to share market research and competitive analysis for Talent Acquisition. Develop a knowledgebase of competitor companies and deliver proactive intelligence on leading practices and results.


Education and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related area
  • 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), or industry experience related fields  
  • Proficient or Advanced Excel experience required (Macros preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience working with applicant tracking and other technical recruiting and financial systems (SAP, Concur, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting (internal or external), influencing and interacting with key leaders across an organization.
  • Project management experience including confidence in managing stakeholder and vendor relationships effectively; ability to succeed effectively with and through others.
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization; ability to understand the organizational environment and navigate successfully within it.

• Knowledge of and the ability to manage various aspects of recruitment and recruiting processes in an organization, including strategic development and delegation of resources.
• Knowledge of Talent Pipelines, a proactive talent supply strategy involving the creation of a continuous stream of highly qualified candidates in anticipation of filling critical and recurrent positions."
