Job Summary

You will be the main Innovation Portfolio Management focal person globally. The position is located in Houston, TX. This position requires advance analytical and problem-solving capabilities,  managing multi-country/global stakeholders requests, knowledge of Portfolio Management processes and tools, knowledge of Stage Gate process, and the ability of multitasking and to influence others.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Generate insights through data analysis that T&I projects are prioritized in alignment with SABICs short- and long-term goals.
  • Interpret analysis / intelligence, analyze trends and prepare proposals to address implications and opportunities. Facilitate suggestions for maximization of T&I value to the business.
  • Consolidate the KPIs for T&I, deliver reporting on T&I KPI performance and help identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis for the quarterly performance review with T&I leadership, in close collaboration with Business and T&I
  • Deliver executive portfolio review reports quarterly.
  • Ensure effective cascading of KPIs, goals and targets.
  • Coordinate T&I projects gate reviews, enabling decision-making, aligned with the T&I gate process.
  • Drive standardization and focus on process improvements and simplifications, based on acquired intelligence
  • Accurately drive project data quality, and ensure information is readily available in the systems and accessible by all stakeholders.
  • Provides systems (Accolade, Time Sheet, & Ideation) training as needed.
  • Work with the Change Management to ensure high levels of process adherence across the affected organization.

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • BS or greater in Finance, Engineering Mgmt, or Chemical Engineering.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with budgeting, forecasting and resource management within a segment of the business.
  • Experience in the Petrochemicals and or T&I / research.
  • Good knowledge of finance and financial metrics.
  • Extensive analysis skills & Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Expert knowledge of Stage Gate & project management process.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent Effective organization skills, presentation skills & problem solving skills.
