Job Summary
Drive he balance between Demand and Supply, optimizing Inventory strategy stock levels in alignment with the Business team. Responsible for optimizing our inventory volumes and health by monitoring and improving DIOH, Turns, aging inventories, mix and planning strategies.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to support the business goals of improving the customer experience
- Develop and implement process and tools to drive actionable plans to ensure inventories are managed effectively
- Analyze inventory levels and drive PSI rhythms to ensure healthy inventory levels are achieved.
- Responsible for defining inventory strategies, and maintaining Finished Good, Feedstock and Raw Materials Inventory Targets.
- Responsible for optimizing working capital by balancing total demand and matching it with supply capabilities, while reducing non-value-added inventory (Aged and Obsolete)
- Work closely with planning and develop process and tools to ensure inventory optimization achieves the proper service levels.
- Manage Made to Inventory (MTI) replenishment & SS levels, and control inventory to meet quarterly DIOH targets
- Drive product line inventory levels to meet quarterly operation plan, balance sku level DIOH (inventory mix) to ensure desired resource levels are maintained.
What Matters to SABIC
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance
- Minimum 3-5 years in Inventory Management, planning, financial analyst, materials management or engineering experience
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and translate into actionable solution plans.
- Demonstrated ability to use and develop analytical tools to solve business problems by implementing sustainable solutions.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate, influence and collaborate across all levels in the organization.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs especially in Excel and PowerBI
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
- Strong financial acumen with clear understanding of working capital and cost management.
- Proven expertise in SAP, APO & IBP
- Highly driven with the ability to drive process improvements
- Exceptional attention to detail

Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday – Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
