Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual with SAP functional understanding of Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) including demand management, production planning, and global availability-to-promise

How You Can Be the Impact

• Design, build, customize, and test business processes in Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Global Availability-To-Promise (gATP) areas to meet the business objectives

• Diagnose and resolve business process issues arising in SAP APO areas by utilizing functional and strong technical debugging skills

• Provide basic support and understanding of business functions that tightly integrates with SAP APO such as Sales & Distribution (SD) and Production Planning (PP)

• Proactively coach and mentor less senior staff

• Direct day-to-day operations of contingent professionals, providing expertise and encouraging teamwork to achieve high performance standards and meet targets

• Partnering with key stakeholders throughout the Americas region to optimize the delivery of existing and new services and continuous improvement initiatives

• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing status updates and suggesting actions for continuous improvement

• Ability to support additional SAP domains and/or Business Applications as identified

What Matters to SABIC

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Commercial discipline

• 5 years experience preferably in Petrochemical Industry or IT environment

• Extensive hands-on functional experience in the SAP APO with some exposure to related SAP functions

• Workable knowledge of reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud or Celonis will be plus

• Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills
