Job Summary

 

Receives and processes highly complex customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered.  Proactively maintains an ongoing relationship with key customers and sales staff.  May handle multiple product markets. This is an intership that will run from May 28th - August 9th. 

 

 

How You Can Be the Impact

 

  • Records and processes highly complex orders and/or inquiries received by mail, telephone, and/or through personal customer contact.

  • Provides pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.

  • Suggests additional and/or alternative products or services to meet customer needs.

  • Checks and approves credit within established limitations, and confirms orders.

  • Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of highly complex customer complaints and issues.

  • Serves as communication link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness.

  • Tracks order activity, and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems.  Expedites the delivery of selected orders.

  • Makes proactive outbound calls.

 

 

What Matters to SABIC

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or IT Bachelor degree program.

  • 0-3 years in Customer Service environment with managed accounts

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel

Work Availability

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Monday – Friday) during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
