Job Summary
Partner with Global IT in all regions to deliver End User services to Americas users. Manage incident, change, problem, and project management processes for regional End User Services. Manage Regional Services to the Vendor Scope of Work to ensure compliance.
How You Can Be the Impact

Participate in implementing and monitoring defined regional IT strategy, ensuring alignment with Global IT strategy, to maximize value to customers.

Define and monitor Vendor service levels across ensuring delivery and completion.

Lead an effective and efficient operational team, partnering with key Global IT contacts.

Manage a robust operations review processes (Track and communicate operational metrics including trending over time).

Identify and manage continuous service improvement initiatives and regional projects.

Participate in large global Transform projects.

Ensure adherence to IT and business policies across the Americas Corporate and Shared Services, SBU’s, and Manufacturing teams.

Participate in and support internal and external audits.

Adhere to all Cyber Security controls as implemented.

Exercise financial authority within established limits and control departmental budget expenditures.

Provide the Sr. Manager, IT Services, Americas with information related to department performance including cost allocations, forecast and manage resource demands including funding requirements.

Manage costs allocation process integrity and completeness.

Maintain regular contact with the Regional IT Senior Manager to ensure service alignment and project status.

Build effective partnerships with Global IT Leaders and key business stakeholders to ensure that IT services are aligned to their needs.

Manage and communicate major incidents and root cause corrective actions to the appropriate stakeholders.

Recognize and acknowledge complaints and concerns and build improvements where appropriate.
What Matters to SABIC
-
Bachelor degree, preferably in IT or Engineering
-
10 years of IT related experience preferably in a global virtual environment
-
5 years of experience in a petrochemical environment
-
5 years of experience leading IT functions or programs/projects
