Job Summary

 

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Regional Controllership Finance Leader. Tactfully manages access to calendar and offices. Provides responsive and professional phone coverage; handles meeting schedules. Plans and manages domestic and international travel schedules, including timely preparation of required travel documents. Responds to travel and schedule changes, provides alternative arrangements, and/or creatively solve travel related issues in a timely manner. Provides general office financial management. Effectively manages change in a dynamic environment with a composed, professional presence, and prioritizes tasks based on business needs. Ensures Finance office areas represent the company in a neat and professional manner at all times. Prepares and drafts executive-level PowerPoint presentations / business correspondence for internal and external use.

Support the controllership Americas finance team on event planning if needed.

This role will have interface with external consultants, third party vendors, technical suppliers, internal SABIC leadership, and SABIC corporate leadership.

The successful candidate will operate efficiently in a dynamic work environment. High integrity and confidentiality is a must.

What Matters to SABIC

 

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
  • 7+ years administrative experience in an executive assistant / administrator role.  Must be responsive and able to work flexible hours to accommodate global business needs and Finance department requirements.
  • Excellent communicator, with superior oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates executive presence; confident in abilities while being sensitive to others. Self-starter that takes initiative appropriately.
  • Outstanding organization skills (can multi-task across projects effectively); has established systems for easy retrieval of information. Pays attention to detail, demonstrated by high quality work and results.
  • Excellent electronic and computer skills. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot new systems and software as required. Previous department-specific experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
