Job Summary
- To assist in the implementation of approved marketing plans and achieve all desired objectives in terms of development and market research.
- Support the BU Manager to execute strategy and contribute to the achievement of the Polymer BU through market research and analysis.
- Expand Polymer business in the country by identifying growth opportunities, including new product, new applications and market developments. Get involved in new business development opportunities in the assigned territories.
- Drive growth strategy of all SABIC polymer products on assigned territories, including the compounding business from Baroda manufacturing plant.
- Execute strategy for all Polymer products starting from sales to resolution of all customer concerns and issues, identify new markets/customers to drive higher sales.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Manage assigned accounts. To execute activities as per the annual marketing plans and overall strategy for the assigned India geography.
- Be the single point of contact for all existing accounts and ensure timely resolution of all issues. Responsible for customer fulfilment.
- Contribute to the development of marketing, competitor analysis, customer retention, identifying the un-met needs of the customer, promotion, and ensure proper strategies are in place to grow/maintain SABIC business.
- Maintain a consumption analysis on products purchased from competition, forecasted market demand, share information on competitor activity to relevant seniors so that they can respond to changing market conditions and demands.
- Conduct market surveys and analysis for tap new applications and customers. Identify ways of penetrating into the market.
- Enable and support BU Manager to update and collate market information and competitors’ activities and report findings for your market to support proposals to management.
- Perform special assignments or drive key strategic projects as assigned from time to time based on the needs of the business.
What Matters to SABIC
- University degree or above, major in Polymer, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Min 4-7 years of experience, drive and maturity
- Marketing knowledge to implement market research
- Good industrial products knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and market players to share the research findings with the customers
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivated Proficient in spoken and written English.
