This role will act as a sales focal in the region and responsible for sales & business development for both bulk chemicals & non-bulk chemicals products throughout INS region.Understand and articulate both short and long term customer needs, include product requirements, regulations, economics & innovation plan.


Job Responsibilities

  • Focal for assigned  Glycol & FCA  (Functional Chemicals & Aromatics, BU) sales & business development activity in INS region for the assigned product portfolio and manage smooth sales activity, in alignment with global & regional sales strategy.       
  • Responsible to plan, formulate & implement growth strategy of Glycol & FCA BU (Functional Chemicals & Aromatics) and optimize sales effectiveness & business profit (High Netback)            
  • Emphasis on development of new customers for products, which have been added in the portfolio to drive growth plans.
  • Develop, retain & sustain good relationship with key customers through periodic contracts and meetings to exchange market information, explore specific needs & anticipate new opportunities                                  
  • Keep an eye for the market trends, competitive activities and strategies, evolving environment & compliances local laws / mandatory requirements for imports etc., affecting the overall SABIC business in the country.
  • Prepare finding & recommendations on marketing study, market segmentation, net-back comparison & other special projects to develop new and innovative solutions, continuously improve product marketability and profitability.
  • Lead the process of sales of SABIC material as per allocation to the INS region, coordinate with SAPPL Sales, Asia Customer Service (ACS)

Representative / Supply Chain, Demand Planner, Finance etc. to ensure smooth sales execution.

  • Assist SBU manager in contributing to any specific project and assignment related to Chemical SBU.
  • Back up as acting role for other  products with respect to internal and external customers in case of long absence



  • B.Tech / Science Degree & preferably Master Degree in Business Administration.               
  • 8  years in Petrochemicals Sales
  • Sales, Business Development, Market Intelligence
