Job Summary:

Binnen de groep van het STC Geleen Technology & Innovation Pilot Plant & Process Installations, zijn we op zoek naar 24/7 Proces Operators.
De 24/7 Proces Operator is belast met het voorbereiden, uitvoeren en uitwerken van experimenten in het kader van R&D onderzoek.

How You Can Be the Impact:

De belangrijkste activiteiten betreffen:

• Veilig bedrijven van polymerisatie installaties (Polyetheen mini-plants en Polypropeen pilotplant) en uitvoeren van experimenten volgens plan binnen de gestelde randvoorwaarden.
• Verwerken van de verzamelde gegevens, waarnemingen en interpretaties tot een schriftelijk en/of mondeling verslag, trekken van conclusies en het doen van verbeter voorstellen.
• Beheren van een toegewezen aandachtsgebied (bv apparatuur, werkmethoden, etc).
• Opstellen van experimenten in overleg met de opdrachtgever.

Vereisten

What Matters to SABIC

• Een afgeronde opleiding op MBO nivo, MTS PT, Vapro C of BTPI.
• Ervaring met meetkamerwerk, reactoren en sleuteldeskundig.

Uitdagingen:

Enkelvoudige problemen (voorgeschreven uitgangsrecepturen) die dikwijls in complexe apparatuur pragmatisch empirisch worden opgelost; er is meestal sprake van een standaard wijze van oplossen waarbij bewust zijn van veiligheid, goed vakmanschap en technisch inzicht een vereiste is. De taak is uitvoerend met een helder omschreven doel. De Operator moet zelfstandig (en veelal solitair) een complexe pilotplant bedienen (opstarten en stoppen) van de pilot plant, naast normale bedrijvingsvoering, storingen herkennen, oplossingen bedenken, en de meest efficiënte route veilig uitvoeren.

Wij zoeken een proces operator met het volgende profiel: veiligheidsbewust, communicatief sterk, initiatiefrijk, zelfstandig, stressbestendig, goed ontwikkeld technisch inzicht, doet verbetervoorstellen, kritische instelling, teamspeler, flexibel.

Binnen STC Geleen wordt gewerkt conform het 2-2-2 vijf ploegen rooster met ingebouwde reserveperiode. Tevens is het lopen van dagsupport onderdeel van het rooster, tijdens de dagsupport periode worden er opstellingen op dagdienst bediend.

Fluency in Dutch language (both written and spoken) is essential. Location: STC-Geleen, The Netherlands
