Sr. ( Lead ) Technician, Electrical

 

 

 

 

Job Summary

Maintenance Specialty Electrical supports all SABIC Geleen plants at Chemelot. The team includes 4 centrally located engineers and 10 decentralized technicians. Its mission is to ensure continuous power supply and prevent interference. We are currently seeking a  Sr. ( Lead  ) Technician Electrical to strengthen the team.

 

How You Can Be the Impact

In your role as Technician, you are designated accordance with EN50110/NEN3140. In this role you are responsible for the safety during electrical work of the people working in the plants assigned to you.

You are responsible for the execution of preventive maintenance and inspections, and assistance to commissioning (PSSR) of new or modified installations. You also carry out minor repairs resulting from the inspections and will also be deployed to detect and fix occurring malfunctions.

 

What Matters to SABIC

  • Education MBO Electrical; Power Engineering, motors and drives.
  • Level 4 according to European Qualification Framework (EQF).
  • You have excellent knowledge of ATEX equipment and have minimum of 5 years experience with working in an industrial chemical environment.
  • Your safety awareness is high.
  • You have the ability to see what is needed in work and organize yourself and your work in compliance with the procedures accordingly to get the job done safely and durable.
  • You are occasionally willing to put in an extra effort to finish the job at hand.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have fair English language skills.
  • You live within 60km from Geleen, the Netherlands.
