Polymer Process Engineer
Job Summary
As the Proces Engineer within our Technical Department for our Polymer Assets, you are responsible for the level of expertise for dedicated process technology; you own and maintain our safe and reliable operating window and production capabilities, and you are responsible for setting up the asset life planning and future value projects. You play a pivotal overall coordinating role within all the Technical disciplines and are the linking pin towards Operations and other departments.
How You Can Be the Impact
As Process Engineer, you add value to the process engineering integrity and the quality performance of specific plant(s) or process sections by:
- Member of HAZOP committee and PHA studies.
- Review and maintain of plant operating window.
- Review and analyze Asset performance and provide feedback.
- Develop and propose manufacturing or business driven technological improvements.
- Prepare and initiate process improvements & optimizations, including process engineering scoping of projects by means of: Defining scopes, Feasibility studies; Bring in specific plant or engineering knowledge and review engineering scope.

In principle our requirements are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Chemical Engineering;
- Preferably up to 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably in the field of Manufacturing or R&D.
- Preferably knowledge of polymer plants
- Experience in developing, designing and optimizing polymer or chemical installations.
- High standards for (process) safety.
