Monomer Plant Control

 

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Monomer Plant Basic Controls Optimization
  • Currently we have some plant control loops that are not performing as expected for different reasons, the intern(s) task will be to assess the current status and make propossals and implement solutions to improve situation
  • Stage 1 : Assess current situation and create a list of underperforming plant controls in CO, DMC and DPC
  • Stage 2: Prioritaze stage 1 list and make proposals based on impact/risk and feasability of solutions
  • Stage 3: start implementation of solutions

 

 

What are we looking for?! We are looking for an Intern who can assess the current status and make propossals and implement solutions to improve situation

 

When would the Internship start? July 1st 2024

 

When would the Internship finish? September 30th 2024

The duration of the Internship is 3 months and there will be an evaluation at the end of the Internship.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • SABIC is looking for a hands on student that communicates well
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and in writing (as well as Spanish) 
  • Preferred backgrounds are Technical Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineer(ing)
  • Process Control and Chemical Plan Unit Operations experience or study ideal
  • Student needs to be registered at a Spanish Institution and/or University in Spain to be eligible to partake in this Internship programme

 

Location:

Cartagena, Spain – this role requires the individual to come to site on a daily basis
