Job Responsibilities

 

  • Provide operations and production leadership for the Brine operation with approximately 40 employees
  • Facilitates organizational effectiveness through modeling, reinforcing and coaching team
  • Interacts with the business and sites in setting the direction for the operating unit including operating parameters and high-level production targets and Business Rules
  • Identifies and communicates operating unit goals and technology plans with respect to the health, safety and environmental concerns, unit operations and technical opportunities
  • Makes sound and timely business decisions based upon Business Technology and Unit Technology Plans
  • Develops and drives implementation of capital projects that support and advance Business and Unit improvement initiatives
  • Manages personal development and the development of direct reports.
  • Sets expectations and coaches’ team to ensure that they are understood and accomplished

 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience in chemicals, plastics or petrochemicals industry.  At least 2 years managerial experience
  • Working knowledge of Process Safety Management and ISO quality standards and advanced manufacturing principles such as LEAN/Six Sigma
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret business strategies and develop plans to meet program and/or operating plan metrics
  • Proven ability to assess talent and build high-performing teams
  • Extremely strong team leadership and cross-functional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of reliability and self-reliance
