JOB SUMMARY
On the Bergen op Zoom location the site project team is supporting all departments in project engineering and execution. The team works together with an engineering alliance partner, for support on detailed engineering, construction supervision, document control, etc. Site project team works closely together with operations, maintenance and technical department to deliver high quality projects according planning.
- As sr Manager of site projects you manage Site Projects department including alliance partner to offer the BoZ manufacturing organization a professional, efficient and reliable capital projects service in line with the Site Projects processes and procedures.
- You manage investment projects for SABIC plants, in order to fulfill License to Operate requirements, to increase contribution margin and/or to improve production reliability and capacity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be managing the site projects department team to ensure effective and efficient projects execution from conceptual design up to commissioning of the project.
- You will be responsible for department budget, optimizing cost of site project team and alliance partner.
- You will be responsible to assure capacity of project team in line with site project portfolio.
- Together with project development team you will focus on improvement of the capital project process.
- As member of the capital investment committee team you will challenge project scope to optimize the added value of the project.
- You will engage with both internal and external stakeholders for optimum performance of project execution
MINIMUM EDUCATION/BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
- Have a bachelor, master, or demonstrable equal degree in Project Management, Chemical- or Process Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years working experience in project management, project development, project execution and/or engineering technical projects within chemical industry.
- Demonstrated manufacturing management skills at advanced / senior level
- Can fluently express yourself in English and Dutch, speaking as well as writing.
- Experience with working in multi cultural and diverse environment and influencing and engaging at senior management level
