Job Summary
On the Bergen op Zoom location the site project team is supporting all departments in project engineering and execution. The site project team is supported by an engineering alliance partner, for detailed engineering, construction supervision, document control, etc. Site project team works closely together with operations, maintenance and technical department to deliver high quality projects according planning and within budget.
How You Can Be the Impact
As project manager you manage and coordinate the execution of site projects throughout all phases (design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and closeout), by planning during development phases and controlling during site project execution. Lead project execution by effectively managing safety, quality, cost and schedule. You provide insight in project controls for the portfolio in-hand. Identify and engage with all stakeholders for optimum project execution and provide guidance to Project Management Team for project execution best practices and lessons learned. You will participate, lead and motivate the project team for a positive outcome of the project to ensure flawless start-up.
What Matters to SABIC
- Bachelor, master or demonstrable equal degree (Process Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical is preferred). Project leadership/management experience, preferably certified under PMI – Project Management Professional
- Language – fluent Dutch and English
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in industrial engineering in a highly demanding detail driven fast track environment
- Problem solving attitude, self-motivator
- Good interpersonal and teambuilding skills
- Able to cope with multiple parallel smaller detail driven projects
- Has the ability to influence others without direct power
- Excellent Conceptual, Communication and Analytical Skills
