Internship Electrical Engineer
DEPARTMENT
Sabic Bergen op Zoom Maintenance department. The department is tasked with maintaining company assets and executing projects to improve asset efficiency and reliability.
JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Noryl plant there are several opportunities for energy savings that would benefit the plant and potentially also contribute to asset reliability. The project is to investigate these opportunities provide a business case and proposal for equipment modification.
Investigate current opportunities for reducing energy usage in the plant and improving equipment efficiency.
- Calculate potential energy and cost savings
- Present potential savings to the business.
- Where a positive business case is present create a project scope,
- Engineer project scope and provide an engineering package for project execution
Currently seen opportunities are:
- Installing VSD’d on blowers within the plant.
- Investigate Heaf motor replacement from high voltage motor to low voltage motor.
- Efficiency off heating of extruder lines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Dutch and / or English
- Bachelor Engineering
