JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a student, are you willing to contribute to business revenues, costs, and service levels by being part of the Order to Cash process? At the Customer Service department in SABIC Bergen op Zoom, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated young professional willing to be part of a dynamic and international team to focus on customer satisfaction and our transformation agenda.
We offer an exciting internship opportunity within the department of Customer Service, Supply Chain Polymers Europe. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our transformation agenda. You will be working within the SABIC customer service team located in BoZ where you will make the impact into our OTC process for our European customers and some affiliates/export customers as well.
This internship includes tasks such as:
- Contribute with your ideas to improve our process, focusing on efficiency, making use of Artificial intelligence tools to master the OTC process.
- Maintaining the order books and been able to assure that our orders in the system are ok and good to go to avoid challenges or issues at our customers.
- You will be responsible of running and maintain SAP reports.
- You will be engaging with our Customer Service colleagues to support the business and allow business continuity.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in HBO or University that willing to improve their Supply chain knowledge.
- Willing to take initiatives, propose solutions and implement them.
- Flexibility towards working in multiple teams and new developments.
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills even in case of uncertainty.
- Team player and able to build and maintain professional relations at different levels within and outside our organization.
- Affinity with and interests in systems & processes
- Conceptual & analytical thinking
- Very good command of English language, both written and verbal.
- SAP knowledge is a plus, nevertheless we will provide you with an extensive SAP training to enrich your knowledge in our operating system (which is used along the chemical industry) plus any other trainings that will help you understanding your role.
- Student(s) must be registered at a University Institution and/or Hogeschool

Start date: as soon as possible (date can be discussed) for a duration of 6 months to one year. Duration can be adjusted depending on the availability of the intern.
