Leads the Procurement services for multiple countries / site locations across INS & SEA-North within Rest of Asia region.  It is a critical role as a member of the Regional Procurement Management Team reporting directly to the RoA Procurement Leader.  He/She shall lead a team that are distributed across multiple countries / multiple sites to ensure availability of supply by running uninterrupted purchasing processes in support of operations including manufacturing plants, technology centers and commercial offices.  This position is responsible to develop strategies and plans to manage all execution activities with full compliance to procurement policies and processes.  Activities include all required Procure to Pay processes under procurement scope as well as developing and implementing best practices to support operational sites and in support of the global category management teams.  The role will also have significant interaction with Regional peers and responsible to seek and ensure stakeholder alignment with SABIC business leaders in Rest of Asia countries. 


He / She shall lead Strategic sourcing strategy /Initiatives to

1) Drive Emerging Market Sourcing (EMS) Charter - Develops EMS supply market intelligence including EMS candidates, capabilities and potential SABIC application/business impact , diversify global supplier base , Value creation and maintain our leadership position

2) Strategic partnership with different SBUs and Functions - Actively develop and implement plans as associated with and fully participate in cross-functional leadership teams engaged in developing and executing business strategy,  new business models including Tolling and external manuafcturing capabilities to enable business growth  

3)  Regional Category management responsibility for Direct Material , Business Services and Technical Goods & Services  

4) Regional Procurement Leadership for Mega growth projects ( Capex reduction ,  3rd party Feasibility& permits / Utility contracting , Supply surety... )  

5) Drive key global Strategic Initiatives for Value Creation and Cost Efficiency , ESG Roadmap by generating transformative ideas that align with GPS strategic vision 
6) Transform site buyers from a transactional focused  to strategic contributor to the business employing Procurement best practices.
